Code of Conduct

The ANZACs are one of the oldest and most respected Player Organisations in the WWIIOL community. It takes a lot of work to build up that respect, and a few poorly chosen words to tear it down.
As an ANZAC, you are expected to be on your best behaviour in public, be it on Allied HQ, the main Playnet Forums, and even ingame. Once you're an ANZAC, anywhere you're using your game name you're representing not only yourself, but your Unit. Further, because most of the folks we deal with are American, we're the only Aussies they've ever dealt with - we really are ambassadors for our nation.

1. Never attack another player or unit. Attack their ideas if you disagree, but try to do it respectfully. Namecalling is right out.

2. If someone has a problem with the ANZACs, politely defend us in that thread, but most importantly, state that problems with our organisation should be emailed to our Commanding and/or Executive Officers (Kkoori, Burbank and Axek).

3. Never defame CRS for decisions which you don't agree with. 2 years of experience has shown that CRS reponds much more positively to legitimate questions, constructive criticism, and suggestions. A positive approach will yield a better result for your agenda, and will not damage the ANZACs' profile in the community. Referring to your $10 per month is right out.

4. Our ANZAC site and ANZAC email groups are hosted free of charge by MDSNews.com (Axek's company) and Sputcorp.com (Laika's company). Respect these services by not posting or referring to warez, pornographic material, or anything that could get our lads in trouble. If this becomes an issue those services will simply be lost to us. Use your heads.

5. If you have a disagreement or personality conflict with another ANZAC member, talk to them personally via email or raise it with ANZAC command staff. Never argue in public forums or in-game chat, or even in the ANZAC forums. We must maintain a united front, any less is just plain unprofessional.

6. When posting on a public forum, participating in an IRC (or similar) chat, or playing in game under your game name, abide by the Terms of Use of the medium at all times. That means abiding by the Playnet Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these points, let us know and we'll be glad to discuss them with you. We reserve the right to warn, or remove without warning, offending members as we see fit.

As our membership grows, we'll experience the odd problem. The aim of this is for every member, present and future, to know and understand where they stand and what's expected. We'll be putting this up for applicants to agree to as well, prior to acceptance.
